Description
Amazon Elastic Container Service resources can provide CPU and memory utilization metrics gathered from the cluster and service that make up an application. These metrics can be monitored and analyzed using Amazon CloudWatch.
When working with containers in AWS, Auto Scaling Groups are commonly used to provide scalability for the dynamic workload of an application. These Auto Scaling Groups can deploy or shut down containers based on CloudWatch metrics. CloudWatch can also send notifications based on metric alarms, which provides visibility and the option to respond to workload anomalies.
