Back Up Files and Folders with the Azure Backup Agent
Description
Azure Backup is a service for backing up your data in Azure. You can back up files, folders, and system state of Windows machines running on-premises or in the cloud. Azure Backup can be used for more than just backing up files and folders but that is the focus of this lab.
The ability to back up files and folders hinges on installing an agent on any machine that you want to back up. The Azure Backup Agent, also known as the Microsoft Azure Recovery Services (MARS) Agent, backs up data to a Recovery Services Vault in Azure. You can configure what files and folders to include in the backup, when the backup operations should occur, and how long the backed up data should be retained for. You will learn all about this while performing backup and restore operations in this Lab.
