Preparing for Disaster With Azure Site Recovery

Azure Site Recovery is designed to quickly get your application up and running again by failing over all of its components to another location. It can handle both Azure and on-premises servers. It supports three failover scenarios: Azure to Azure, on-premises to Azure, and on-premises to secondary site. In this lesson, we focus on the Azure-to-Azure scenario.

  • Create a Recovery Services vault 

  • Use Azure Site Recovery to enable server replication between primary and secondary regions, run a test failover, and run a real failover and failback
