Description

AWS Glue is designed to simplify and automate the process of preparing and loading data for analytics. Configuring crawlers, jobs, and triggers are common tasks when working with AWS Glue and are essential for building a robust data processing pipeline.

This lab challenge assumes familiarity with the following AWS Glue features and concepts:

  • Inferring a schema from a data source using an AWS Glue Crawler
  • Managing data in an AWS Glue Data Catalog
  • Configuring an AWS Glue ETL job
  • Triggering an AWS Glue ETL job based on a schedule or event

If you're unfamiliar with any of the above, it's recommended that you complete the courses and labs listed in the prerequisites before attempting this lab challenge.

This hands-on lab challenge will take place in a production-like AWS environment. You will be presented with a task and set of requirements you must fulfill to pass the challenge.

This is a real environment, which means you can prove your knowledge in an applied way, substituting multiple-choice questions for a dynamic performance-based exam situation.
