Hello, and welcome to SC-300 Exam Prep: Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator. The focus of this learning path is to prepare you for Microsoft’s SC-300 exam. However, even if you’re not planning on sitting the exam, this learning path will help you get started on your way to becoming a Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator.

My name is Thomas Mitchell, and I’m an Azure instructor at Cloud Academy.

The SC-300 exam will test your knowledge in several key subject areas. You’ll be expected to know how to implement an identity management solution, how to implement an authentication and access management solution, and how to implement access management for apps. You’ll also need to know how to plan and implement an identity governance strategy.

This learning path has been designed to align closely with the published learning objectives covered by the SC-300 exam. Therefore, we’ll teach you how to do things like implement the initial configuration of Azure Active Directory, how to create, configure, and manage identities, how to implement and manage external identities, and how to implement and manage hybrid identities.

As you move through the course, you’ll learn about planning and implementing Azure MFA, and how to manage user authentication. You’ll also learn about conditional access and about managing Azure AD Identity Protection.

We’ll cover the integration of Enterprise Apps for SSO and how to implement app registrations.

Governance will also be covered. For example, you’ll learn how to plan and implement entitlement management, how to plan, implement, and manage access reviews, how to plan and implement privileged access, and how to monitor and maintain Azure Active Directory.

Completing all courses in this learning path will allow you to learn the skills necessary to sit the SC-300 exam. As you can see, there’s quite a bit to get through! So, let’s get started!
