Hello and welcome to this learning path which contains our courses and hands-on labs which will focus on two key services, these being Amazon EC2 and the Elastic Block Store service (EBS). These 2 services are often used in conjunction with each other, while EC2 provides compute processing power for your applications, EBS offers persistent block-level storage through its seamless integration.

This learning path will start by covering Amazon EC2 in depth, providing you with a solid understanding of the service, and the opportunity to get hands-on with the service through a series of labs. You will also learn about the EC2 image builder which allows you to build and define a pipeline for creating your EC2 images.

We then dive into Amazon EBS, looking at its use cases, the different types of volumes available, its security features, and EBS Multi-Attach. Again, you will be given the opportunity to implement and manage EBS using a series of hands-on labs.
