Welcome to this intermediate C# course.

Here, you'll master the skills required to succeed in C# development.

This course builds on the skills you gained in our C# Fundamentals course, or an equivalent one.

So, we'll assume you're already comfortable with coding simple algorithms, making decisions, using loops, working with collections, creating basic classes with constructors, properties, and methods, and running basic unit tests.

You are about to embark on a journey of discovery.

You'll learn everything you need to know so that you can take your basic C# skills to the next level and develop fully functional C# applications, whilst also appreciating supporting concepts around development, such as best practice.

The self-paced learning stage of the course will typically take around 13 hours to complete and includes self-study activities where you can put what you've learnt into practice through expert tutorials, online labs, and challenges.

So, we will be covering inheritance and the use of interfaces to improve code quality, link and Lambda expressions, exception handling, and an introduction to database access using the Entity Framework.

It might seem a bit daunting at first, but you're in control of what you do and when you do it.

The Live event presents a unique opportunity to put everything you've learnt in the self-paced learning stage into practice.
