Presenter: Eight years after President Kennedy gave his speech to Congress stating that he wanted the country to send a man to the moon, Apollo eleven left earth to make history. The Apollo missions, which together, formed the Apollo program, represent the manifestation of the vision that JFK created.

We tend to put a lot of focus on the vision statement in MSP and rightfully so, as we always need to look forward when defining what success looks like. However, just as the moon landing represented one in a series of steps on the Apollo program, the three lenses of MSP are the elements that help you achieve the vision.

MSP, now in it's fifth edition, is a globally recognized framework for best practice program management. Through research and consultation with leading practitioners, this fifth edition has responded to developments and evolving perceptions of program management in recent years. The new design adopts an incremental approach to the program life-cycle and emphasizes up to date thinking on delivery approaches you may already be familiar with such as, agile.

We have crafted a blended learning experience for you with a combination of digital and live learning to set you up for success. You'll have a few weeks to complete the digital learning before you attend a live session with one of our expert trainers. I'll go into more detail on the live session in a moment, but, for now, let's talk about the digital phase of your learning journey with us.

The digital phase is made up of several learning paths. Each of these focuses on different aspects of MSP. From the founding principles, through to the themes, processes, and more. By the end of the digital phase, you'll have learnt all the theory you'll need to succeed in the MSP practitioner exam. You can expect a mixture of articles, interviews with experts, quizzes and reflection exercises to help you learn everything you'll need to know.

After the digital phase, you'll attend a live session. You may attend the live session in person or virtually, but regardless of how you attend, you can expect a similar experience. The goal of the live session is to give you a chance to work through activities with groups and as an individual, and to put everything you've learned about in the digital phase into action.

Your trainer will act as a facilitator of the live session. They'll be able to answer all your questions and support you in preparation for your MSP practitioner exam. We hope you are excited to take your next step in program management.
