Extending and Monitoring Microsoft Entra ID MFA looks at how on-premises infrastructure can utilize Entra ID to provide multi-factor authentication. MFA is almost taken for granted in cloud-only scenarios and provides added security in an online world. This Lesson focuses on how existing Entra ID MFA can be integrated into an on-premises network. We start with a general overview of the external or remote user login process before moving on to a Microsoft-specific implementation. Then, we see what’s required to integrate Entra ID MFA with Active Directory authentication.
